Coconuts pack a punch both internally and for your skin. Coconut oil is a well known anti-bacterial agent and moisturizes skin. Internally it is one of the healthiest fats you can eat both raw and cooked. Coconut oil is one of the few cooking oils, besides palm oil, that is able to endure high cooking temperatures without turning into a free radical. Eaten raw, it is a medium chain saturated fatty acid that is a powerful antiviral, anti-fungal and antibacterial agent.
